Digital Publications

Fortune Brands relies on literature as a tool for both sales and inspiration. In today’s digital age, people expect to have access to these tools anytime, anywhere. I explored tools that would provide a solution for this problem, and entered into a contract with Publitas.

CHALLENGE

Fortune Brands had been hosting literature on several digital platforms for years, but none of them provided the experience we were looking for. Issuu’s reader was dated, Widen’s reader was too small, and neither was ideal for embedding video content. We had seen examples from other brands we loved, so I did some digging and found that they were working with Publitas. I entered into a contract with Publitas, began transferring publications over, and was instantly more satisfied with the experience. The requests for this type of work quickly grew once internal teams realized we had this capability in-house, and in 2025, we identified a need to take this even further by making the Moen Style Guide, a 300+ page catalog, shoppable.

SOLUTION

Once we had our legacy content on the Publitas platform, I started exploring ways to enhance the content. I added hyperlinks, page jump links, and video content, and worked with our Digital Experience team to embed the publications into the Literature Center on our website. These improvements provided additional context, inspiration, and resources to our audiences and quickly directed them to PDPs to order our product. In 2025, I upgraded our plan with Publitas to further customize our publications. I collaborated with their dev team to create a custom menu and worked with internal IT teams to connect our product data feed, creating a truly seamless product browsing experience for our sales associates with the 2025 Moen Style Guide. To date, we’ve uploaded 33 documents into our account, garnering more than 3 million page views.
